The Problem

Solo attorneys leave money on the table every week.

An O-1A petition takes 40 to 80 hours of paralegal and associate time. Most solo practitioners can only run two or three cases in parallel. The rest of the market — the high-margin, career-defining cases — goes to large firms with associate armies, or to templated mills that deliver second-rate work.

The Workflow

Three steps. One hour.

You’re the principal. Docket is the associate. You provide the inputs and the judgment. We handle the draft.

  1. 01 · Intake

    Enter beneficiary information.

Guided intake for the beneficiary's background, criteria narrative, recommenders, and filing target. 30 minutes, auto-saving as you go.

  2. 02 · Evidence

    Upload evidence & letters.

Drag-and-drop PDFs, Word docs, emails. Docket reads each file, maps it to the right criterion, and flags gaps before you're surprised by them.

The Output

Per case, Docket produces:

Evidence plan

3–6 pp

Criterion-by-criterion mapping of exhibits with strength ratings and gap analysis. Your blueprint for the rest of the case.

Personal statement

10–15 pp

First-person narrative in the beneficiary's voice, anchored to specific exhibits. Signed declaration ready for notarization.

Petition letter

15–25 pp

Legal brief addressed to USCIS. Each criterion argued with evidence citations and controlling case law.

Exhibit index

4–8 pp

Numbered, tabbed exhibit list cross-referenced to every claim in the petition letter. Adjudicator-ready.

Recommendation templates

2–3 pp ea.

One tailored draft per recommender. Emailable, with redline instructions for the recommender to personalize.

Cover & forms checklist

2 pp

Form I-129 checklist, filing-fee summary, premium-processing flag, and the cover letter you send to USCIS.

14 days, not 14 weeks.

One attorney. Ten cases a week.

$3,200–$32,000 of paralegal work. Done for $0 upfront.

The Partnership

How the partnership works.

Docket is a partnership, not a subscription. We only make money when you file. You stay attorney of record. You keep the client relationship.

85/15

You keep 85% of every case fee.

Standard O-1A fee is $6,000. Your share is $5,100. Docket's share is $900 — charged only on filing, never on drafts.

$0

No upfront fees. Ever.

No seats, no subscriptions, no compute bills. You pay Docket when you file, and only when you file. The economics work for a one-case practice.

Your
name

You stay attorney of record.

Every filing goes out under your bar number and your letterhead. Docket is invisible to your client, to USCIS, and to opposing counsel.

Common Questions

Things attorneys ask.

Who actually owns the work product?

You do. Every output is drafted for your review, filed under your bar number, and covered by your attorney-client privilege with the beneficiary. Docket is a tool, not counsel.

What happens if USCIS issues an RFE?

Docket regenerates targeted response drafts against the specific RFE questions, using the original evidence corpus plus any new documents you upload. RFE responses are included in the base 15% — no additional fee.

How is the AI trained — on my client data?

No. We use foundation models via their enterprise APIs, with zero-retention agreements in place. Your beneficiary data is never used to train our models or any third-party model. Full data-handling policy on request.

What visa categories are supported?

O-1A and EB-1A are generally available. O-1B, EB-1B, EB-1C, and EB-2 NIW are in closed beta with a waitlist. H-1B, L-1, and family-based categories are not on the near-term roadmap.

Can I white-label Docket for my firm?

Docket already runs invisibly — every document goes out on your letterhead. A firm-branded client portal is on the roadmap for Q3 2026. Contact us if you'd like early access.
